The Footing Firm was built by David Lauinger of Culpepper, VA, Drew Discount of Palm Beach, FL, and Karsten Koch of Bremen, Germany, in order to satisfy the need for better surfaces for world-class equestrian athletes. Each of the principle partners bring to the table a unique understanding of the arena building process. Together, the team has over fifty years of worldwide footing experience. 

At the highest level of the sport, superior footing is not a luxury - it is a need.  A facility is only as good as its arena surface.
